Feering

A Norwegian fishing boat built using three wide strakes per side. This boat is a contemporary version of a very old design. Mr. Ian Ougthred designed this unique and beautiful craft for one or two oarsmen or a little sailing rig. Both versions are made from six millimeter marine plywood in a glued lapstrake method (clinker plywood). The boat is 4.5 m. long, has a beam of 1.35 cm and takes 4 people for as long as you wish. Dry, it weighs around 60 kg.
